A typical situation

You glance at the last-seen option of her Whatsapp. It reads 1:30 am.
You wonder why she told you that she was going to sleep at 11 p.m.
You ignore it but the trend follows even the very next day.
You choose to remain silent.
Meanwhile, the long paragraphs and heart emoticons reduce to one liners.
Nicknames disappear and you are left with Good Morning and Good night texts.
Very soon, days pass without hearing from the other person.
You ask yourself, “Is she the same person who used to talk endlessly over the phone?”
You break your silence and confront her.
You don’t get an answer but you cant control your burning anxiety.
You are helpless and caught in the maze of happy memories and you are currently having mentally excruciating experience.
The last seen still read 1:30 a.m. while you are entangled in a question to “Why me?”
Not having a definite answer to a loved one’s indifference is the worst emotion I have ever felt...
